In the following "PROMPTMETHEUS" refers to all services related to PROMPTMETHEUS, including this site, the PROMPTMETHEUS platform, apps, APIs, etc.
PROMPTMETHEUS is owned and operated by Toni Engelhardt (residence and jurisdiction in Portugal).
Using this service
When using PROMPTMETHEUS you consent to the following terms. If you are under 16 years old you may not use this service without explicit prior consent of your legal guardian to the following terms.
Limitations of use and prohibited actions
You may use PROMPTMETHEUS only in compliance with the law and for lawful purposes. You may not use this site for the purpose of harming or attempting to harm individuals or other parties in any way. You may not attempt to access accounts of other users without their permission and you may not try to access without authority, interfere with, damage or disrupt
- any part of PROMPTMETHEUS;
- any equipment or network on which PROMPTMETHEUS is stored;
- any software used in the provision of PROMPTMETHEUS;
- any equipment or network or software owned or used by any third party.
Contributing and uploading material
Whenever you add content (text, links, files, images, videos, etc.) to PROMPTMETHEUS you take full responsibility and liability for it and you grant us permission to store that content on our servers. You may only add content that you either own or for which you have explicit permission by the owner to use it and to upload it to our servers. You must under no circumstance knowingly transmit any data, send or upload any material that contains viruses, Trojan horses, worms, time-bombs, keystroke loggers, spyware, adware, or any other harmful programs or similar computer code designed to adversely affect the operation of any computer software or hardware. You must also not transmit, or procure the sending of, any unsolicited or unauthorized advertising or promotional material or any other form of similar solicitation (spam).
Account obligations
When signing up to PROMPTMETHEUS and thereby creating a user account you agree that all account information you provide to us will be true, accurate, complete and current information, and that you will maintain and update your account information as needed throughout your use of the service to keep it accurate and current. Failure to provide accurate, current and complete account information may result in the suspension and/or termination of your account. You are not allowed to create more than one account per person (physical identity) without explicit permission from our side. You understand and agree that we may access, use, preserve and/or disclose your account information and content if legally required to do so or if we have a good faith belief that such access, use, disclosure, or preservation is reasonably necessary to:
- provide support;
- comply with legal process or request;
- enforce these terms of service, including investigation of any potential violation thereof;
- detect, prevent or otherwise address security, fraud or technical issues;
- protect the rights, property or safety of this service, its users or the public as required or permitted by law.
Where we give you or where you choose a password which enables you to access certain parts of this site, you are responsible for choosing a reasonably secure password and keeping it confidential. We ask you not to share your password with anyone.
Third party services
We use third party services from Google, Microsoft, Stripe, OpenAI, and others to operate our platform, provide services, and to enhance user experience, i.a. text completion, authentication, etc. We take all reasonable effort to verify the correct functioning and legality of those services at all times, but do not take any responsibility for them since their functioning is beyond our control. See also the related section in our Privacy Policy for more information on how data is shared with third parties.
By using PROMPTMETHEUS you agree to not knowingly violate the terms and policies of any of those third parties.
Wherever an external API key is required, i.a. to access OpenAI's API, you explicitly agree to adhere to the terms and conditions of the respective provider when accessing their services through PROMPTMETHEUS.
Provider terms and policies:
Third party API keys
In order to execute prompts you might be required to provide your own API keys to use the above-mentioned third-party AI platforms. By design, the keys you provide are used exclusively for requests that you or your team mates initiate. However, despite best efforts, we cannot guarantee that our software always works without flaws. You are therefore required to set appropriate usage limits on your API keys and we do not take responsibility for excessive requests that are caused by malfunctioning of our software or hacks.
The default storage location of third-party API keys is locally on your device for maximum security. But, depending on your plan, you may have the option to also store API keys in your profile or one of your organizations to share them and sync them across devices. If you choose to do so, your API keys will be stored in our database, which exposes them to an additional risk of being compromised by a hack. When using this feature you acknowledge this risk and also the fact that we do not take responsibility for any damages that might arise from a hack of our database.
Trials, subscriptions, payments, and disputes
All our paid plans have free trials for you to test the service before committing to a monthly subscription. You may cancel subscriptions at any time to the end of the current billing cycle.
Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy and are currently not available.
You must not dispute payments unless they were fraudulent or unauthorized. Disputes create costs on our side and we reserve the right to charge you for those costs as well the labor that is required to resolve illegal disputes.
When your free trial ends you will be prompted to subscribe to one of our paid plans to be able to continue using PROMPTMETHEUS services. If you decide to upgrade your plan you will be redirected to a Stripe portal to fulfill your subscription purchase. By using the portal you agree to Stripe processing your data and payments according to the purchase as outlined in their Service Agreement and Privacy Policy.
If you choose not to upgrade to one of our paid plans you might lose access to the data that you have created during the trial period.
Every subscription is only valid for one person (physical identity) and may not be shared between multiple people. You may not try to manipulate or hack our system in any way to obtain paid services without active subscription.
Linking our sites
You may link to PROMPTMETHEUS, provided you do so in a way that is fair and legal and does not damage our reputation or take advantage of it, but you must not establish a link in such a way as to suggest any form of association, approval or endorsement on our part where none exists. We reserve the right to demand removal of links to this website without further reasoning.
Links to other pages
Where PROMPTMETHEUS links to content on other pages provided by third parties, these links are provided for your information only. We have no control over those contents and do not take responsibility for them or for any loss or damage that may arise from your use of them.
Privacy and cookies
By using PROMPTMETHEUS you consent to our Privacy Policy.
Communication
All contact details on this page (email addresses and phone numbers) must only be used to contact us for one or several of the following:
- questions about using our service;
- reporting problems with our page or bugs;
- requesting support regarding the use of this service.
You must however, under no circumstance, share those provided contact details with anyone or use them for advertising purposes or in order to sell services to us. Also, you must never send us messages or emails generated by an automated system. We reserve the right to invoke legal action against any such attempt.
Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify and hold our brand, its affiliates, subsidiaries, directors, officers, employees, agents, partners and licensors harmless from any claim or demand, including reasonable attorneys' fees, made by a third party, relating to or arising from:
- any content you submit, post, transmit, or otherwise make available through the service;
- your use of the service;
- any violation by you of these terms of service;
- your violation of any rights of another service.
This obligation shall survive the termination or expiration of these terms of service and/or your use of the service. You acknowledge that you are responsible for all use of this service through your account, and that these terms of service apply to any and all usage of your account. You agree to comply with these terms of service and to defend, indemnify and hold harmless our entity from and against any and all claims and demands arising from usage of your account, whether or not such usage is expressly authorized by you.
Intellectual property
We are the owner or the licensee of all intellectual property rights of this site. Those rights are protected by copyright laws and treaties around the world. All such rights are reserved. You may print off one copy, and may download extracts, of any page(s) from this site for your personal reference. You must however not modify this copy in any way, and you must not use any illustrations, photographs, video or audio sequences or any graphics separately from any accompanying text. Our status (and that of any identified contributors) as the authors of material on our sites must always be acknowledged in a proper way. If you breach any of these terms of use, your right to use this site will cease immediately and you must, at our option, return or destroy any copies of the materials you have made.
